Description:**Thumper and Thomas would like to find a home together**
Thumper is a very active 1.5 yr old Bunny who enjoys climbing, jumping on things, playing with toys and shredding paper. He is as litter trained as a bunny can be, trying very hard never to mess in his cage or when he is free-roaming the bunny room. He is not really destructive but as with all bunnies should not be left unattended around power cords or anything he could eat or climb into and be injured. Thumper needs a lot of activity and is not happy when confined to a cage all day. He enjoys being held and petted but gets antsy after a while because he is so active.
Thomas is a Himalayan boy, only around a year old, who just loves to play and explore. He likes his big green ball toy with a bell toy inside. He likes toys that he can pick up or push around. Thomas is a little more shy than his mini-rex counterpart because he came from a hoarder's home where he wasn't getting a lot of attention. He's still friendly, just needs a little time to get used to new people. He and Thumper love each other very much and they would like to find a home together. They are always laying together, grooming one another or sharing salads with each other.
Both of these rabbits are neutered and microchipped and are ready to go to their new home! Their diet consists primarily of timothy hay, with Oxbow and Mazuri rabbit pellets and fresh greens and veggies daily.

Rabbit FACTS:
Rabbits can live 10 years or more with proper care. Where will you be
in 10 years? If you don't see a rabbit in your future, don't bring him
home now (or consider adopting a senior bunny.) They are considered by our rescue to be house pets, not outside
pets, and they will not be adopted to live in hutches, garages, barns,
or cellars (unfinished basements). They need to be with their people daily!
Rabbits should see a bunny-savvy vet annually for checkups just like a dog or cat.
Rabbits need lots of time out of their cages to see the world, explore, run and play.
Diet consists of mostly greens and vegetables with high-quality pellets
being more supplemental than a staple. Quality timothy or orchard
grass hay and fresh water should be available AT ALL TIMES! This is
very important!
Grooming a bunny is very simple. Routine brushing and nail clipping,
checking teeth and ears, and providing a tidy habitat in which to live
will all help your bunny stay healthy and clean!
